Yoga practice & psychology
for balance & bliss

Our inner world
shapes our outer world

Yoga’s origins ‘stretch’ back to the ancient vedic period in India, 2,000-5,000BC! At it’s heart - across the myriad varied schools and styles - yoga is about freedom from suffering and attainment of bliss - ‘ānanda’. Yoga is a potent way of regulating and healing our nervous system, resourcing us for life.

Yoga - like life - is a journey. The benefits of yoga are infinite: it helps us cultivate presence and contentment (santosha). Yoga offers a space to observe our inner landscape: to witness our thoughts and feelings without judgement, practicing non-attachment and non-identification with these ‘fluctuations of the mind.’ Yoga guides us to practice intentionality, empowers us to re-author our thoughts (& thus beliefs), and brings more balance and presence to our lived experience. As we release constrictive thoughts and narratives, as we metabolise and transmute what no longer serves us, tension leaves our body also. Yoga means ‘to yoke’ - body and mind. As neuroscientists and psychologists have now shown, body and mind are not two but one.

Yogis were the original psychologists. Their beautiful wisdom and ‘way’, offers us tools and techniques for healthful living. In yoga, the journey is the destination.

Yoga guides you home to yourself, to presence and connection

Private Yoga Booking
Book Freda for a 1-on-1 session for a practice fully tailored to you. This is a potent way to progress your practice and deepen your self-awareness and capacity, on and off the mat.

Corporate Yoga On-Site
Yoga improves your organisation’s bottom line. Stat. Countless studies show that even 20-minute yoga practice leads to clearer thinking, and improvements in mood, circulation, focus and energy, while reducing stress (cortisol). Yoga regulates our nervous system, and re-energises us - all good things to lift the vibe at work!
It also counteracts the effects of hours at a desk.

Group Bookings / Retreats
It is always a deep honour to share the gift of yoga with people and introduce them to their own, ‘inner yoga teacher.’ My style is to empower others and reconnect them with their agency, whether on retreat or at an event or conference. Yoga is an unrivalled practice for building mindfulness, presence and leadership capabilities - tapping into a broader bandwidth of our wisdom than cognition alone.
